Little Known Fact:
Red Door’s first location was a space at Old Town Mall, which is no longer in business. Our next location was at Courtyard Antiques. We work seven days a week, looking for our merchandise, fixing up our merchandise and running the store. It’s a labor of love.
Our Story:
My mom and I share a love for interior design and creating beautiful spaces to live in. We used to shop estate sales and impress our friends with the beautiful things that we could find. Pretty soon our homes were full and friends were putting in requests for us to keep our eyes open for items at sales. We knew we had a business opportunity that we couldn’t turn our backs on.
What I Love About Olympia:
In a single word: “eclectic.” Olympia is like our store, a mix of old, new, artsy and unique. We have a wonderful community that is passionate about life and embraces local, grassroots efforts of artists and activists. I honestly can imagine no better place to live and raise a family.
