Little Known Fact:
McCrea Cellars is Washington State’s first winery entirely dedicated to Syrah and Rhone varietal wines. This is our 23rd crush. Olympia Wine Tasting Bar sells both McCrea Cellars wines and Salida wines.
Our Story:
Doug was fortunate enough to get Tempranillo grapes in 2006. In 2006 and 2007 we produced 35 cases of Tempranillo. With our 2008 vintage we were able to produce 200 cases. Salida is our new label focusing on the grapes of Spain.
What We Love About Olympia:
The people. We have met some wonderful people who are passionate about their downtown shops and markets. You can’t help but be excited with them.
