Greg has been at the helm of the store for over 25 years. First as an employee, then manager, co-owner and now has full ownership of the men’s store. Rebranding Bartels Men’s Store to g.miller – olympia was just a natural progression of where Greg has lead the store to be positioned. Greg states, “I have been fine-tuning this store for decades now. Listening to my customers and providing what they ask of me every chance I get.”
Years Downtown:
There has been a men’s store in our location since 1968.
Little Known Fact:
Greg got his job by happenstance. He was downtown to get his hair cut and wandered into the store afterwards to just look around. He struck up a conversation with the owner, Joe Mount, and as they say, the rest is history.
Our Story:
Greg is married to Sandra and has one grown sun Billy and two boys still at home; Hayden, 11 and Ross, 9. They are very active in our community and local nonprofit organizations.
What We Love About Olympia:
Greg and Sandra thoroughly enjoy working and living in Olympia. Greg says one of the best parts of his day is when his customers come by and share stories about what’s going on in their lives. Greg often says, “I am a very fortunate man. My customers are some of my closest friends.”
