Little Known Fact:
Sarah and her older sister were featured in The Olympian as participants in the annual Pet Parade (circa 1980). Their parade entry was a little red wagon filled with festively-dressed Barbie and Ken dolls.
My Story:
As a native Olympian, Sarah spent her teenage years hanging out downtown. Her favorite shops and people were downtown and she hoped one day to have her own shop. Fire & Earth carries local artists’ work, from Mount Vernon to Eugene, OR and many towns and cities in between.
What I Love About Olympia:
I love that we are constantly evolving in our diversity and population – our quirkiness and creative, community-minded spirits sustain us through good and bad times.
