Mary was the State Fire Marshal from 1998 to 2004.
Our Story:
Mike was a Staff Development Teacher Educator in MN and WA for 32 years. I was in the Fire Service for 27 years in MN and came to WA to serve as State Fire Marshal in 1998. Courtyard Antiques opened in late 2004. In 2007, I formed the Antique Vintage Association of Olympia and the Greater South Sound, which has been joined by 22 antique shops. Mike and I have always been public servants and have taken those skills into our Antique business, helping new and aspiring antique dealers get started in the business. We believe that knowledge is to be shared and enriches the entire community. We love being in business in Olympia.
What We Love About Olympia:
Olympia is Quintessential Washington. It has a little something for everyone. It is the hub and gathering place of the states movers and shakers, locally, regionally, statewide and even nationally. It is a place that represents all that is good about Washington, particularly the people. Olympia Rocks!
